QANTOS GmbH
QANTOS GmbH was founded in January 2001. Originally entering the market as a service provider for consulting and engineering, just a few months later the company added its own production, completion, assembly and delivery of systems.
Qantos has been part of senata GmbH since May 2008.
The company’s location at Weiden has a production area of approx. 8,000 m², and at Meerbodenreuth an additional 1,800 m² is available. Our core competence is the treatment and processing of fibre-reinforced plastics (FRP) as well as the manufacture of complex system components. As a system supplier we develop, construct and build complete interior and exterior solutions for railway vehicles, passenger and utility vehicles as well as for other industry sectors.
We satisfy our customers with the high quality of our products and innovative system solutions. Our careful choice of materials and production methods is guided by the individual requirements of our customers and the market. While we believe in competition, we greatly value long-term relationships with suppliers, with whom we strive to work as partners. Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 was successfully introduced as early as March 2003. Aside from economic efficiency and power of innovation, quality management is at the core of QANTOS’ philosophy. Continuous optimisation of the QM system is a top priority. In addition, Qantos have also been certified for welding according to DIN 6700 Part 2 for part class C5 since 2004.
